We hope you all had a great fall break. Here is some latest information about our upcoming events.
1. Presentation by Zimmer. Since sophomores will have an exam on Thursday morning, the presentation has been postponed to Thursday night. PLEASE NOTE: This meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 8 to 9pm, in Room 356A Fitzpatrick. Please disregard the information in the last email. Dr. Levine will bring very cool models of their products to the meeting. In case you don't know Zimmer, it is a company manufacturing artificial joints.
2. Technical Elective Night. The registration for Spring 2011 will start on Nov. 15, so we'll hold the meeting before then. There are two dates available, and the meeting will be in the evening as usual. Please indicate your preference below by 12:00pm on Wednesday, Oct. 27, so we can reserve a room in time. Juniors and seniors may want to join this meeting, but sophomores are also welcome. You can bring questions about engineering minors and concentrations as well. Please make sure you take the vote if you want to join the meeting. We'll have to cancel it if there is not enough interest.
3. Graduate Discussion Panel. Still pending. Sorry.
Sophomores, if you are considering to be an officer of ASME/SAE, please present at our meetings as many as you can. The election will take place next semester but it is better to start learning what to do from now on.
Please feel free to spread the words and bring your friends to our meetings.
