"We are all our brothers' and sisters' keepers, and we must care for each other to bring peace to our world."
- Fr. William Wasson, Founder of NPH International
Friends of the Orphans (FOTO) is the American fundraising organization for Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos International, a group of orphanages in nine countries throughout Central America and the Caribbean. FOTO aims to get Americans involved in supporting these orphanages, so that the children can grow up in their own culture and remain with any existing family. Since the founding of NPH, over 15,000 children have passed through its homes. Today, thousands of these pequeños are now self-sufficient adults with families of their own. NPH outreach programs, include hospitals and clinics, which serve over 30,000 adults and children each year. NPH International has been in existence for over 50 years and provides children with an alternative to poverty and international adoption.
FOTO @ ND is a group of Notre Dame students working to make a difference in the lives of these children by raising awareness, generating funds, and sharing their experiences first hand through service/learning trips. We believe that our Catholic identity calls us to serve the poor without limit and we invite you to join us as we do everything we can to give these children a chance at a better life!
