About the Conference

The Conference on Elite Personality and Political Institutions brings together scholars interested in applying personality psychology and individual differences research to the study of political elites. The research presented here by a diverse mix of international scholars features empirical, theoretical, and experimental approaches drawn from political science, psychology, economics, sociology, management, and related disciplines.

The conference is being held at the University of Notre Dame. It is supported by the Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy and the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts. It was organized by Gary E. Hollibaugh, Jr., and Matthew E. K. Hall.
