Call for Tutorials

We invited proposals for tutorials on Intelligent Narrative Technologies. Each proposal included the following:
  • Goal of the tutorial: Who is the target audience? What will the audience walk away with? What makes the topic important?
  • Expected audience: An estimate of the audience size.
  • Prerequisite knowledge: What knowledge is assumed of the target audience.
  • Content: Detailed outline and list of additional materials, augmented with samples, such as past tutorial slides and survey articles, whenever possible. Be as complete as possible.
  • Duration: The target duration for the tutorial. Preferable durations are:
    • 1 hour
    • 1.5 hours (1 hour, 30 minutes)
    • 3 hours (excluding 30 minute break)
  • Technology requirements: What technology is required for tutorial delivery (e.g. projector, speakers).

  • TINT Workshop Submission Deadline: Friday, July 15th, 2016 Monday, August 1st, 2016 (Extended!)
  • Acceptance Notification: Monday, August 8th, 2016
  • TINT Workshop: November 15th, 2016

Submission and Workshop Format

We accepted tutorial proposals relative to their merit and the allotted resources (facilities and time). Presenters were asked to share their presentation materials, including slides, software, and documentation as appropriate.

Workshop materials were not a part of the ICIDS conference proceedings. Instead, they are made available on this website for archival.
