Dr. David Cozzo
Ethnobotanist and project director for the Revitalization of the Traditional Cherokee Artisan Resources.  He works out of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indian Extension Office, 828-554-6856
He is experienced in wild-harvesting and the use and history of the native medicinal herbs.
Ms. Alison Dressler
Research Assistant with the WNC Natural Products Project working with Jeanine Davis' program, 828-684-3562
Alison is interviewing growers, buyers, and wild-harvesters of medicinal herbs to build a network to facilitate commerce in the region.  She is also helping to update publications on how to grow and market medicinal herbs and taking care of the logistics for putting on educational programs.
