4-H pledge logo
Martin County 4-H - Susan Tyre, 4-H Agent
4-H will be pretty busy at Farm Heritage. Here's what we're doing:
  • Hosting the concession stand.
  • We have a booth with an activity for the children (making a Christmas ornament to take home).
  • We are collecting new unwrapped toys for Zack's Toy Chest to be distributed to the Pediatric Cancer units in our local North Carolina hospitals.
  • We are also collecting canned food items for donation to the Food Bank of the Albemarle for distribution to Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hertford, Hyde, Martin, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties.
  • 4-H has a real treat for the youth of Martin County. This year, Steve Gabel, Area Acqualture Agent, will be bringing a small live American alligator for you to see and learn about! We are very excited about this opportunity!

Please help us help others!
