The 2016 Martin County Farm Heritage Day was cancelled in lieu of a Farm City Week breakfast celebration. Please check back next year for updates on Farm Heritage. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding in our taking a step back and working to redesign this event. Hopefully, we can bring it back bigger and better! All of us, even the most entrenched city dweller, have a farm heritage. And it does not matter if you are a meat eater or a strict vegetarian. It is the soil that sustains our bodies and farmers are the tillers of the soil. If not for those facts, there would be no one here to have a heritage. So we celebrate our farm heritage with a Farm Heritage Day. It is an opportunity to reconnect with our heritage. A chance to see, hear, touch, smell, and taste memories from days gone by or maybe something brand new. Join us for the celebration. You will be glad you did!
