Welcome to the homepage of the Equestrian Dressage Club at NC State, home of the Wolfpack!

  • NC State competed in the last IDA show of the year at Averett University on February 1st and 2nd. Everyone rode solid tests with scores in the upper 60s. First level senior and Vice President Lizzie Treece won the sportsmanship award for the region, which was very well deserved! First level senior Alexa Kelly won first place in DSE both Saturday and Sunday, going on to win third place in DSE championships while senior Natalia von Windheim took second. In addition sophomore intro rider Anna Batezel pointed out and is going to represent NC State at nationals! We are so excited for her and can't wait to head up to New Jersey at the end of April. Again, everyone did an amazing job especially our seniors who showed in IDA for the last time.

2015-2016 HIGHLIGHTS:
  • We are so proud of Sammi Majors for winning the First level division at Nationals this year! We had an awesome time at Centenary College with some great horses and even better teammates. Sammi was awarded the Trip Harding Memorial Trophy for First level Champion, a new saddle from Custom Saddlery, and a gorgeous Perri's leather halter. Thank you to Centenary College for hosting and thank you to all the generous donors for their donations! Congratulations Sammi!
  • Congratulations to Freshman Bridget Callard for earning high point Reserve Champion for the year at her first year out in IDA!
  • All the teams in our region voted and chose us to receive the Team Sportsmanship award.
  • Buckeye the Dressage Mule [pictured above with the team] was voted Horse of the Year for this show season. This was the second year in the row the team has won this award. Dragon, last years winner, is proud to have Buckeye's name on the trophy next to his.
