Tardy Policy

Goal - The goal is to get our green zone (85%) of students to class on time and to identify our yellow (10%) students who will need more support.

Tardy Policy:

1) Classroom

• 1st Tardy: Student receives a Verbal Warning
• 2nd Tardy: Student conferences with their classroom teacher
• 3rd Tardy: Parent/guardian is notified by a phone call or an email (Fill out the minor behavior tracking form)
• 4th Tardy: Teacher assigns a major office referral and the student management team processes the referral.

2) Student Management

• 3 or more tardies in a day and a student receives a major referral and an after-school detention.
• 6 or more tardies in a week and a student receives a major referral and an after-school detention.
