BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
An academic course with emphasis on algebra. Also covering graphing, number, trigonometry, geometry, statistics and probability. This course is required for students who wish to advance to Level 3 Mathematics. A scientific calculator is essential.

High achievement in Year 10 Mathematics.

1S MAT Mathematics

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
This is a general course and can prepare students for continued study as far as Level 2. The emphasis is on practical applications.  A scientific calculator is essential. Students in 1S are usually those who have found the subject challenging in Years 9 and 10. Students in 1S will need to do 1A in the following year before advancing to Level 2.
