Hello!

I have been teaching for 16-years in the Sacramento area and this is my sixth year at NP3. I received my undergraduate degree in accounting from Alabama A&M University, and after working as an accountant for 5-years, I realized that accounting was not my passion. So, I went back to school to earn a teaching credential and a master's degree in education. Fortunately, I was able to make a career change and found that my true calling was in education.

On a personal level, I have been married for 21 years and have 4 beautiful children ages 18, 16, and 10-year-old twin boys. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, trying new recipes, working out, and spending time with my family.

As an educator, I will challenge my students to think critically and to value the opinions of others; to embrace new challenges and to continuously look for ways to improve themselves. I believe that all students can succeed, and hope to inspire them to become lifelong learners.

I am excited to embark on this journey and am looking forward to discovering what this year of learning together will bring!
