Health Careers Camp Information

The North Central WI Area Health Education Center (NCAHEC) Health Careers Summer Camp is a 4-day program that provides an opportunity for high school students in grades 10 - 12 to experience up close the challenges, opportunities, and rewards of working in a health profession. Students will travel by bus throughout the week to various health care organizations and educational institutions to explore a large variety of health careers. The learning sessions, tours, and hands-on activities are facilitated by instructors and health care professionals. Diversity awareness and leadership skills training are included as a part of the camp experience. Three adult counselors are present at all times. Students will leave this experience having a better idea if a health career is right for them, along with a better understanding of college and career readiness.
