Conference fees this year are $25 per novice delegate, $40 per advanced delegate, and $20 for student advisors. All fees must be paid in full before November 4.

Please make all checks for school registration or delegate fees out to THSMUN and mail to:

Lunch will be provided on both days to all delegates and advisors. Assignments have been sent out to all schools via email. Topic synopses are now live and position papers are due November 1. Instructions for turning in position papers and topic synopses are located on the COMMITTEES pages. Final counts should be submitted before October 26 using THIS FORM. If you do not submit THIS FORM by October 26, we will assume you are keeping all assigned spots and charge you for your initially registered numbers. Invoices will be sent out when final counts are received or after October 26.

With any other questions pertaining to the conference, please email thsmunconference@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you in November!

Position Papers

Position papers must be submitted by November 1st. See the committees pages for more information.

Late papers will be ineligible for research awards. Delegates without papers submitted are not eligible for Outstanding or Best Delegate awards.

For formatting and guidelines for novice and advanced committees, please CLICK HERE.

All position papers must include an MLA works cited page to be considered for awards. Please CLICK HERE for the position paper rubric.

Pre-written resolutions are not permitted unless expressly stated in the topic synopsis. Resolutions will be written in committee. CLICK HERE to view a resolution template.

At THSMUN, we will not entertain general debate in committees. Delegates should come prepared to discuss their solutions in substantive debate during the first committee session.

Both moderated and unmoderated caucuses will be entertained at the discretion of the chair.

Committee Awards

Delegation awards will be based on total committee awards across all advanced committees.

Smaller committees will receive fewer awards than larger committees.

Award PowerPoints and committee score sheets will be available two weeks after the conference ends.
