Selecting your Pressing Problems

A few tips to help you as you begin your selection process:

1. Each group member should propose ideas and as a group you will determine the five that you feel are the most pressing

2. As a group you will assign members to research each problem

3. To maximize your global perspective, each problem should be researched by at least 2 group members

4. Each problem should have different groupings so that you have an opportunity to work with different partners

5. While researching, keep in mind the end goal is to: define the problem, state what is currently being done to address the problem and then offer suggestions on potential solutions to the problem

6. While researching, you should also consider that your final presentation should be 4-8 minutes. That is approximately one minute per problem.

Good Luck!
