Hello! My name is Nicole Alfano and I am so excited to be teaching Pre-K4 at St. Theresa School! Here’s a little about me… Prior to teaching here, I taught Pre-K4 for seven years at St. Rose of Lima Academy in Short Hills. Pre-K4 is my favorite age to teach! I also have experience teaching Pre-K3, 2nd grade and 5th grade inclusion. My son Hudson has been part of the Little Stallions program here at STS since he was 9 weeks old. I am ecstatic about his transition into PreK3 this year.

In my classroom your child will learn a lot! In addition to motor skills and social skills, we will be focusing on all the academic subjects. I teach the curriculum through weekly themes and we will be studying one letter of the alphabet per week. We will also be doing lots of religion, handwriting, singing, STEM projects, and learning center time.

I believe in open communication with parents and providing an environment that is happy, safe, and conducive to learning. I will be e-mailing you my weekly newsletter once per week so that you can reinforce and discuss what your child is learning here at school. I will also send home reminders for classroom events, school events, projects, and holiday celebrations. I encourage you to e-mail me or send me a note in the communication folders any time! I am here for any questions and concerns that may arise. I am ready for a super year with your little angels! 😀
