I have been teaching since 2002.  I have spent my whole career as an educator with Seeds of Health and I have been with Tenor since we opened.  My first ten years of teaching I spent as a math instructor.  Courses that I taught include: Pre Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 with Trigonometry.  I recently made the switch from math to engineering, and am really enjoying the new challenges.

Teaching is not my first career, prior to being in education I spent 10 years working in manufacturing.  My first position was with a manufacturer of electro-mechanical sensors and switches.  I started as a material handler and eventually wound up in purchasing where I purchased over six million dollars worth of components annually from over 100 suppliers. After 6 plus years of working for that company, I then went to a smaller company where I worked in sales.  The new company specialized in tool and die making, and producing metal components on automated machines.  I had the privilege of traveling all over this country and parts of Canada and Mexico and toured many different manufacturing facilities. Both jobs were very challenging and I learned a lot about manufacturing and engineering.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee and am committed to teaching Milwaukee's urban teenagers the skills necessary to succeed in today's technologically advancing society.
