Students must submit the permission form in order to use Google Apps. Once the forms are returned to the school, a designee at the school enters the data into Genesis. To save you time, we have created a Rapid Entry method to assist the designee in entering this data into Genesis.
The Google Apps consent info is listed on the same Genesis screen as the Image & Technology Consent. You can mark it individually there or use the Google Apps Rapid Entry.
Go to Tools and File Processing > Google Apps Rapid Entry. You can pull up a list of all of your students by clicking on Show List. Or you can select by grade level or by student. Marking it here will populate the Google Apps field to “yes” on the Image and Technology Consent screen which is found on the student’s basic demographics > Misc Icon > Local tab.
