You may celebrate your child's birthday in class!  If you are an approved volunteer you may come in with the treats.  If you are not you can send them with the student or drop them in the office.  All treats must be store bought, NOT homemade. The birthday celebration can not take more than 20 minutes of class time.

Become a VOLUNTEER to help out in the classroom or school!  Use this link: http://www.polk-fl.net/community/volunteers/default.htm to go to the volunteer application page.  You will need to print the form out and return it with a check or money order to the school.  You must be an approved volunteer to go on field trips, help with classroom parties, or help with other events at school.  You cannot volunteer in your child's classroom to help with day to day tasks.  The cost of being an approved volunteer is currently $25 but will be going up to $40 starting Nov. 1, 2018.  Click HERE to read the article about the new volunteer process that starts Nov. 1.
