Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! As difficult as it is to say goodbye to summer, I'm excited to be starting a new school year with you. This is my 11th year of teaching English at NRHS, and each year becomes my new favorite year!

The best part of teaching is that I can continue to learn and grow with my students through each new school year. I earned my BA degree in English Literature and a minor in Creative Writing from Colby College in Maine. Later, I completed a MA degree in English Literature at Stanford University and my MA in Teaching secondary English from Tufts University.

This year, I am teaching Honors English 10 during E period in Room 211 and English 12: Satire during G period in Room 102. My "home base" -- and the place you should find me for extra help -- is the English department office, Room 221.
