Welcome to Engineering at LBMS. Engineering makes applied science and math come alive through engineering design. Engineering incorporates problem-based learning utilizing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) principles. Engineering spreads technological literacy, which is accomplished by providing a variety of hands-on laboratory activities to students with many exciting new technologies. Engineering expresses design and problem-solving abilities and provides to the student career awareness and information about a wide variety of technology-related fields. Students become more prepared to prosper in an information and technology-rich society.
In Massachusetts, Engineering is a science. Therefore, it is a state-tested subject in 8th grade.
