We are currently reading play version of The Diary of Anne Frank. Below is a link to an online version of the story for any students who may need to reread or makeup a portion of the story.

We have been working on a nonfiction unit on author's point of view. Students need to complete the following Teenbiz activities if they did not complete them in class:

"Are Video Games Good for You?"
"Can Video Games Teach"

Update

We only have a few weeks left of the grading period. A few reminders:

  • Students should be keeping up with their independent reading. This will be a major grade at the end of the grading period.

  • We are very close to finishing the novel we have been reading, The Giver. If students need to read anything they missed in class, they can check out a copy of the book from the library.

  • We often do Achieve 3000 quizzes. Students who do not finish in class/are absent may need to make these up at home.

Week 2 Update

posted Aug 22, 2016, 11:54 AM by Jacob Williams

Hope everyone is having great year so far. A few reminders/updates:

  • Summer reading grades have been entered (If you see an "X" in place of the grade, this means the assignment was not turned in and will be counted as an F)
  • Students should be keeping up with their independent reading for AR
  • We are currently reading the Giver. We will have our first test on the book next week.
Have a great week!
