I actually attended Kenmare H.S. and graduated in 1980.  Great Year!  I Graduated from the ONLY University of ND in 1985 with majors in History, Geography, and Social Studies.  I also have minors in Coaching, Driver Education, and Physical Education.

After coaching girls basketball in Sheyenne ND for the fall and substitute teaching, I entered the Highway Patrol Academy in January of 1986.  I was then hired by Kenmare Public Schools to teach Social Studies in the fall of 1987.  I have been teaching in Kenmare ever since.  My wife Ruth and I have three Children who are all out of school.  Kira is the Guidance Counselor in Burlington ND. She has given us three awesome grandchildren; twins Trevor and Jasmine who are 6 and Wyatt 8.  My son, Grey, works in Edmonton Canada as a Surgical  Nurse.  Beca is in her third year at Mohall as a sixth-grade teacher. and she has a 2-year-old daughter named Cora and we have another grandchild due in December.
