Kenmare Public Schools would like to introduce you to our new                 Superintendent Mr. Tim Godfrey, beginning July 1st, 2019!


Tim Godfrey is currently the Director of Student Services for Central Cass Public Schools.  Prior to that, Mr. Godfrey served as the Superintendent of Richland School District. He has been an educational administrator for 11 years and has been both an elementary principal and a high school principal.  During his time at Richland, the district implemented innovative educational practices that garnered recognition from the state. Also, during that time Richland Elementary was awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award for increasing student achievement. Before becoming an administrator, he was a special education teacher for 11 years.  


Mr. Godfrey will complete his doctorate in Educational Leadership this spring with the University of North Dakota.  He has a bachelor's degree in Social Science with a minor in Education through Colorado State University-Pueblo and a master's degree in Special Education through Florida State University.  He received his PK12 Principal Certification from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. After high school, Mr. Godfrey enlisted in the U.S. Army and served 7 years to include combat duty in Operation Desert Storm.


Mr. Godfrey is very excited for the honor of serving students, staff, and parents of Kenmare Public Schools.  He is also looking forward to becoming a member of the Kenmare community and serving the public as well.




Students will master essential core skills including social behaviors while adapting to a dynamic world. Kenmare Public School will foster communication skills through technology, basic and critical thinking. Our school will develop leadership, independent learning and instill values and life skills in Tomorrow's World
