About your teacher...

I have two associates degrees in General Education (because not everyone knows what they want to do for the rest of their lives when they are 18!) and Radiologic Technologies. I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2002 and my master’s in Education in 2004. I started my teaching career as a 7th grade math teacher, moved on to high school, taught college review classes for the TEAS test (9 subject in 8 weeks!), worked as a Math Intervention Resource Teacher for grade levels K-8, threw in some time as a Realtor and worked for the Sheriff’s Department, and now have come full-circle back to teach 7th grade math at CPMS.

I am a San Diego native; growing up and going to school in east county. I have a daughter currently living in Idaho, and a son attending college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. In my spare time I love taking road trips, camping, hiking, and reading. I am an avid sports fan and will literally watch almost any sporting event. I have been a Green Bay Packers fan for as long as I can remember, enjoy watching the Stanley Cup Finals, and have recently discovered major league Rugby (yes, San Diego has a team)!

I am looking forward another great year at CPMS!
