About your teacher...

Hello everyone! Here is a little bit about me: I was born and raised in Connecticut and I moved to Boston at 18 to attend Boston University. I received a B.S. in Bilingual Education with concentrations in English Literature and Deaf Studies. After graduating, I taught English in Ecuador. Then, I moved back to Boston and taught ESL at Match Middle School and Match High School. In the summer of 2018 I moved to San Diego and became an EL Coordinator and English teacher in the Poway Unified School District. In the fall of 2019 I began teaching 5th grade ELA at College Prep! For fun, I enjoy spending time with my family (this includes my dog), reading, running, doing TaeKwonDo, and baking!
