Seniors- There are many collegs and universities that offer merit scholarships foir students with stellar GPAs (4.0)+.  Some of these are : Boston University- Trustee Scholarship, USC Trustees Scholarship, Washington University St. Louis-Danforth Scholarship, Indiana University -School of Journalism-Ernie Pyle Scholars, CSU Presidential Scholarships. Please check all of these colleges websites, as these applications have different anbd usually earlier due dates.
Seniors who took classes at Pierce or any other community college must bring an official transcript from the college to the Counseling Office so it may be entered on your Cleveland HS transcript. We cannot run rank until everyone has done this.
SAT now requires you to upload a photo of yourself when registering for the SAT. Your photo will then be printed on your admission ticket. This is a new security measure.
Miami of Ohio is hosting a weekend event (room and board - free) for students of color- Nov. 18-19. If you attend and c0omplete the program, you can have your application fee waived, and receive a $10,000 scholarship to attend. See Mrs. Drell
2013-2014 Common Application is up online. Seniors may begin filling it out. Website is : www.commonapp.org.

 GPA Verification Forms
We will no longer need the students to fill out this form as the district will be sending all financial aid GPAs straight to the Student Aid Commission.  Once you have submitted your FAFSA, the Cal Grant information and the FAFSA
information will match up.
Need Money for College?
Come to our Financial Aid Night on Tues. Dec. 6th* at 6 p.m. in the MPR. Please note date change!! We will have the Director of Financial Aid from Occidental College , Maureen McRae, present the FAFSA, and there will be a Spanish version going on concurrently in Room K2.
This should be mandatory for all seniors and at least one parent to attend!
You will not receive any financial aid if these forms are not completed correctly!
