Class Schedule - Summer II - July 2014

The Office of Fitness and Recreation provides weekly fitness classes free to all RFUMS students.  Classes are on a first come first serve basis and may have limited numbers available for each session. Lunch Time Yoga - A 30-minute yoga class that will involve some basic yoga poses, stretching, breathing and mediation. All levels welcomed.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:05-12:35pm and Tuesdays from 1-1:30pm

What do you need: Yoga mat if you have one, limited mats are provided. Bring a towel/water and wear comfortable clothing.

 

Circuit - This class will target all muscle groups with interval training. Class will be different each week, but will always include cardio and resistance/weight training using different type of equipment. All levels welcomed. 

When: Thursdays from 3:15-4pm

What do you need: Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and bring a towel/water.

 

Power Yoga - A hybrid style of yoga combined with different Pilate poses. This class takes yoga to a higher level by holding poses and adding reps. You will go through a more vigorous flow of yoga that will challenge your balance, strength and stamina with dynamic movements. All levels welcomed.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-4:45pm

What do you need: Yoga mat if you have one, limited mats are provided. Bring a towel/water and wear comfortable clothing.

 

Zumba - Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

When: Mondays and Tuesdays from 5-6pm

What do you need: Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and bring a towel/water.

 

Cardio Step - A quick 35-minute session combining cardio and resistance training. This work out will include step aerobics with some lunges, squats, push-ups and core for a full body work out. All levels welcomed.

**Only 15 steps/spots are available for class and are on a first come first serve basis.

When: Tuesdays from 12:05-12:40pm and Wednesdays from 3:15-3:55pm

What do you need: Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and bring a towel/water.

 

Piloxing - A unique mix of Pilates and boxing moves that torches fat, sculpt muscles and features a core-centric interval workout. This class is guaranteed to whip you into shape, using a class format that's both fun and challenging. Piloxing blend the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. All levels welcome.

When: Tuesdays from 4-4:45pm

What do you need: Bring a towel/water and wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.

 

Core in a Crunch - A 20-minute class that is all about working your center. We will start out with strength exercises targeting your abdominals and lower back than finish with stretching for a full core workout.

When: Thursdays from 12:05-12:25pm

What do you need: Bring a towel/water and wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.

 

Yoga - A conditioning class for your mind, body and soul, along with promoting an overall sense of well-being. This class will improve your strength, flexibility and breathing. All levels welcome.

When: Thursdays from 5-6pm

What do you need: Yoga mat if you have one, limited mats are provided. Bring a towel/water and wear comfortable clothing.
