The eleventh annual Northeast Regional Life Sciences Core Directors (NERLSCD) 2017 Meeting will be held October 25-27, 2017,  at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ,  hosted by Rutgers University.  

The NERLSCD meeting (often called the NERDS meeting) is an outstanding regional forum for core facility administrators, directors, managers and staff to network with colleagues, to learn about biotechnology advances and their applications, and to discuss the challenges of implementing shared research resources.

Keynote talks from TBA

Presentations and discussion surrounding bringing in new technologies and non-traditional customers into existing cores.

Technical tracks for many different types of core facilities including Genomics, Mass Spec, Flow Cytometry, Bioinformatics, Imaging, and Administration.

Poster session that offers attendees an opportunity to present posters describing their core services and to learn about regional life sciences shared resources. 

Opening reception and numerous opportunities to network with colleagues. 

Satellite conference events will include: 
  • New York Core Administration Network (NY-CAN) Meeting 
  • Tour of core facilities at Rutgers
