We are finishing up our final weeks with lots of fun! We had a blast at Squam Lake Natural Science Center. We learned about the water cycle, what affects animal populations, and how animals survive in their habitats. Seeing the bears and mountain lions up close were a highlight for many students. Thank you to all of the chaperones who helped make this a success! We made our field day t-shirts last Friday. Those will be coming home this week. Each one is unique and awesome! Students began an independent inquiry project on a topic of their choosing last week. Lots of research was done and many are getting ready to create the final project that will be shared with the class this week. We are looking forward to Field Day which has been postponed until tomorrow afternoon. Thursday marks our annual Move-Up Day where you child will find out who his or her teacher is next week and get to see who their classmates will be. It's hard to believe the year is coming to a close. Thank you for sharing your child with us. We have enjoyed our time and can't wait to see how much they grow as they continue through the years. Have a great summer!
