  • Middle of September Hi everyone!  How is the middle of September already!  Time is really flying here at MVMS.  In Science, we are diving deep into environmental issues.  Students are doing weekly Mystery Doug Homework assignments, bi-weekly ScienceFlix classroom assignments, reading from the text, doing mini scientific investigations, and taking notes.  They will be receiving their first project of the year next week that involves creating a brochure about an environmental issue and how to solve the problem.  Keep your eyes out for detail info on this project.  In Make it Work in Middle School, students created vision boards that share their reality/goals.  They did an excellent job.   • Welcome to MVMS for 2018-19 School Year I am so excited to be starting my 12th year here at MVMS with you in my classroom!  I teach Science and Making It Work in Middle School.  We are going to have a lot of fun this year learning about Plants, Ecosystems, Elements, Living Things, Environmental Science, and Weather in Science and working on all kinds of middle school skills in Making it Work.  I am excited to meet your families at our Open House on Thursday, September 6th at 6 p.m. here at MVMS.  You will receive an agenda book to keep yourself organized.   • Memorial Day Weekend How did it become the end of May so quickly?  Our school year has been busy and is wrapping up very soon.  Students have a lot of work left to do, information to be learned, and fun to be had.  Between now and June 22nd, students will have a free reward period to celebrate their NWEA growth with outdoor fun and a treat, hear a presentation from meteorologist, Mr. Kevin Skarupa from WMUR's News 9 weather department, and will attend a Unified Soccer Game.  Additionally students will hear 8th grade community project presentations, attend their 6th grade field trip to the Mount Washington Cruise, attend a STEAM Day, and have fun at field day on the last day of ...

AAP (Academic Assistance Program) is held on Mondays and Tuesdays in Room 108 with Mrs. John and Wednesdays in Room 109 with Ms. Stack from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Pick-up by car is NO LATER THAN 4:30 p.m.

School Store is open Mondays - Thursdays for the 1st 20 minutes of Pride block and is located outside the library with snacks like water, granola bars, gummies, and goldfish.  All snacks are $1.00 or less.
