Welcome back to the 2016-17 school year!

I hope you have had a wonderful summer and perhaps had the time to play, relax, read, create and soak in the sun.

We are starting the year off in the art room with a few activities and games that promote cooperation, communication, creativity and team building.  Building a safe, caring and cooperative environment is essential to the success of our students.

This year I will be facilitating the multimedia club.  Multimedia is the exploration of a variety of technologies, from online applications, to video production, to photography.  This year multimedia will revolve around a variety of activities that we will document through various technologies.  Our first activity will be playing and documenting lawn games from around the world (i.e. bocci ball, croquet, Kubb, takraw and more).  Multimedia club will meet Monday's starting September 26th.  Announcements and more information about the club will be made available to students and parents in the coming weeks.
