*I want to thank all of the Career Day presenters for participating in our fourth annual Career Day event on May 16th.  Career Day was planned to give the students at Loudon Elementary School a unique experience and involve the community in the students learning.  The students from Kindergarten to Fifth grade had a chance to think about their likes and dislikes, to think outside the box, and to see there are many possibilities out in the real world.  The day overly exceeded my expectations for the students. This would not be possible without our presenters who gave up their time and their work day to spend the day at Loudon Elementary School.   Thank you presenters for taking the time to plan age appropriate, engaging, and exciting presentations. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed hearing about your career. THANK YOU!

*This month we will be working on the bat houses and wildflower garden!  This project would not be possible without the NH Partnership for Schoolyard Action Grants. The NH Partnership for Schoolyard Action Grants is supported by NH Audubon, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, NH Fish and Game and Project Learning Tree.  A huge thank you to Hilary Chapman who spent a day at LES last month teaching all the students about bats. This new project will be out near the LES soccer fields. All the students will have an opportunity to participate in some aspect of this project.  Please look for an email with other details about this project coming home soon.

*We will be having a MVHS Senior Walk at LES on June 15th .  Last year it was great to see the LES Alumni come back and march through the school with their cap and gown.  Parents are welcome to attend the event. After they march they will have a reception in the Media Center with the LES 5th grade students.   I am looking for parents that are willing to donate snacks and drinks for the occasion. If you would like to help please send me an email with what you would be interested in making/donating.  Thank you in advance!

*It is that time of year when all the books that belong in the LES Media Center need to be returned!  The easiest way to tell if it is a book that belongs here is by the “magic zebra” sticker on the back of the book that says “Loudon Elementary School.”  Please keep an eye out for these books at home!

*The 2017-2018 LES Awards Ceremony will take place in the gym on Friday, June 22nd at 9:30.  I hope everyone has a wonderful, FUN FILLED summer!

LES will be having our third annual Senior Walk on Friday, June 15th, 2018 at 1:30 pm.  The students, staff and community members will cheer the MVHS Graduating Seniors on while they parade the halls of LES.  They will be wearing their caps and gowns through the LES halls. The walk will be followed with an informal reception in the Media Center with the LES 5th graders, staff, and any members of the community that would like to attend.  Parents, we would love to have you come and help cheer the graduates on! We are looking for donations of food items for the reception (bottled water, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, cookies, finger foods, individual bagged snacks).  These items should be at the school by 1:00 on June 15th. If you are willing to donate an item please email me or call the school. Any questions please call the school at 783-4400 or email me at
