School Counselor Purpose:

    A school counselor's primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal and social development
of a
ll students. To meet the needs of all students and families, a school counselor may meet individually with students or in small groups. They may also conduct classroom lessons, meet with parents or guardians and collaborate with teachers and staff.  Any student can request to meet with the school counselor or they may be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent.
