One More Way to Get School Information

As I write this information, the calendar says June, and the past couple of days, the thermometer has been at or above the century mark.  So why, one may ask, would I be thinking about snow days?!

Over the past several years, I have learned from personal experience and the experience of others that telephone notification systems are not foolproof. As much as we try to provide information regarding school cancellations, late starts and other important school information, we know that, from time to time, unfortunately, someone 's call will be missed. Recognizing that this will be the reality, we still want to provide as many avenues as possible to make such information available. We will still continue to make the calls, still continue posting on radio and TV stations, still continue posting on the school website and Facebook page. In addition, beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, I will also post all school closings and delays on a Twitter account set up largely for that purpose. If you want to receive school closings/delays via Twitter, just sign up to follow @mullensupe.
