LHS Band Spring Concert 2017 Performance Letter Updated

Aloha Parents/Guardians:

Due to a schedule conflict we must adjust our Spring Concert timeline for Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Pearl City Cultural Center. All students should arrive in their respective uniform and must provide their own transportation to and from the event. The Band room will be open after school until 4:00 pm to pick up instruments and coats. Percussion please be at the bandroom at 2:00 pm to load your instruments. All performers must arrive at the auditorium by 6:30 pm, doors will open to the public at 7:15 pm, concert begins at 7:30 pm. The following groups are required to attend:

Beginning Band (Period 1) Uniform – White buttoned down collar dress shirt, short sleeve, black long pants (no skinny jeans or capris), black socks and all black shoes. If wearing a belt, it must be black.  

Advanced Band (Period 7) Uniform - Yellow polo shirt, white long pants (no skinny jeans or capris), White socks and white Dinkle shoes. If wearing a belt, it must be white. If playing with Symphonic, you will have time to change.

Symphonic Band (Period 2 & 5) Uniform - Boys, white collared dress shirt, black bow tie, white long pants (no skinny jeans or capris), white socks and white Dinkle shoes. Girls, white turtleneck white long pants (no skinny jeans or capris), white socks and white Dinkle shoes. Green concert blazers will be issued that day. Please make sure they return them after the concert. If wearing a belt, it must be white.

Please note tickets will say 6:30pm start please change it to 7:30pm. A letter from the auditorium director is included on the back of this sheet. We are all sorry for the inconvience!

This performance constitutes a large portion of their 4th quarter grade. Students with an unexcused absence will not be given an alternate assignment. If you child is unable to attend this performance please fill out the form below. An alternate assignment will be given for excused absences.
