A mini Conference will be held at Mount Holyoke College, June 21-22, 2013. The conference is supported jointly by the NSF and Mount Holyoke College.

The principal events of the conference will be Friday and Saturday day-long panel discussions on ``New Formats for REUs" and ``REUs and the Culture of Mathematics and Statistics".

There will also be two plenary talks by

Carlos Castillo-Chavez (Arizona State University)
Ravi Vakil (Stanford University)

All panels and talks will take place in Cleveland Hall Lecture Room 3 (L3) at Mount Holyoke.
