During the weekend of November 13-15, 2009 the inaugural meeting of Major Taylor Clubs of America will convene in Chicago. This is an opportunity for representatives of all predominately African American clubs to come together. Come and participate in what may become the shaping and development of African American cycling in America. Bring your ideas, opinions and enthusiasm. In essence this is a call for action for those who are interested in transforming the African American cycling community into to a goal oriented, healthier, cohesive, more vibrant community.
Attendees will enjoy food, beverages, entertainment and productive conversations with “bike minded” individuals, with the goal of ultimately forming a grassroots organization supporting goals and agendas formulated by attendees.
