NCLB Report Cards -- The federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires all states, school districts, and schools to provided annual report cards to parents and communities.
On this page you will find links to the Maine Educational Assessment that took place in the spring of 2015. The data is released from Maine Department of Education and is compiled in a variety of ways. There is also information about the percentage of students who participated in these assessments by district, by school, and by grade level. Finally, there is also accountability data, which demonstrates student achievement in the areas of English language arts and mathematics in grades 3-8 and high school, and in science in grades 5, 8, and high school.
