Welcome to the Online course entitled: Pain Management: Expanding Your Knowledge. This course was made possible by the efforts of the primary author, Susan Homes Walker, PhD, RN. Her educational preparation and work on the adult acute pain service at University of Michigan Health System provides an expertise in this area.
This program complies with the requirements for continuing nursing education and specfically satisfies the requirement for 1.33 contact hours of pain and pain symptom management for relicensure in the state of Michigan. This independent study activity will be available to learners for 2 years, until 2017. No conflict of interest is disclosed by either the presenter or planner of this activity.
