Welcome to the Online course entitled: Pain Management: Expanding Your Knowledge. The primary author, Susan Homes Walker, PhD, RN, developed this course. Dr. Holmes- Walker brings the expertise of her educational preparation and clinical experience on the adult acute pain service at University of Michigan Health System and currently as the Clinical Quality Facilitator II at Henry Ford Health System. 

This program provides 1.33 contact hours, a substantial portion of the 2.0 contact hours required for RN licensure renewal in the state of Michigan regarding pain and pain symptom management. This independent study activity will be available to learners for 3 years, until August 2018. The presenters or planners of this activity disclose no conflict of interest. No financial support from a commercial entity or sponsor was present. Successful completion criteria for CNE is in the Learning Guide.
