The Institute of Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at Michigan State University will host the first Great Lakes Mathematical Physics Meeting, June 23-25, 2017.

Confirmed speakers include: David Damanik (Rice U), Ian Jauslin (IAS), Thomas Chen (UT Austin), Mei Yin (U Denver), Bob Sims (U Arizona) and Ramis Movassagh (IBM)

Friday will be focused on young researchers, with a three lecture mini-course and a round table discussion on career issues. Saturday and Sunday will feature invited lectures and a round table discussion on current research topics in mathematical physics. Each day there will be a session of twenty minute short talks by young researchers. The meeting will be of broad interest to researchers working in mathematical physics. Thus the invited speakers work in diverse fields.

Please register for the conference by clicking on the registration tab and filling out the form.
