The text of the doc is included below if the link doesn't work.

The Little Mermaid Costume Requirements

Absolutely NO Sneakers, Uggs, or lace-up boots on stage!

EVERYONE MUST SHOWER BEFORE EVERY REHEARSAL AND SHOW!!!

Make Up

All girls must come in on the nights of the dress rehearsal and show with foundation , eye makeup and cheeks applied.   Your makeup should be applied heavily, as under the lights, a little makeup looks like no makeup.

Boys will have their makeup done at school.

All Chefs and Sailors: Black Dress/Dance shoes, white t-shirt or tank top for under chef jacket/pirate shirt.  Sailors - if you have tall black “riding” type boots, you may wear those. If hair is long, it should be pulled back into a braid or low bun at the back of the neck.

Seagulls: white ballet slippers (isotoner-type slippers are fine), you must also have a long-sleeved white t-shirt  If hair is long, it can be placed in low ponytails or braids on each side of the head. You will be wearing a baseball cap on top.

Maids- Black ballet/dance shoes or slippers (isotoner-type slippers are fine), black flats work as well.  Hair must be in a LOW BUN at the back of your neck. You will be wearing a headband that we will provide.

Mermaids AND Mersisters - Nude tights and ballet slippers (nude or pink - Isotoner-type slippers are fine).  Mersisters, if you have not gotten your long-sleeved flesh-toned leotard, you will need that as well.  You cannot go onstage without it. All mermaids hair should be left down. But can be pulled back on the sides with clips or a headband (shell-themed of course!).  You may also have one long braid on the side (Elsa-style) if you have longer hair.

Jellyfish - you should have tights to match the costumes you have - blue, pink, or green.  You should all have pink or black isotoner-type ballet slippers or dance shoes. Your hair should be pulled back into a low bun.

Rainbow Fish - you should wear blue tights and black flats or dance shoes.

Sea Turtle and Sting Rays - You should wear shorts and a tank top or t-shirt under your costumes as they are hot.  You should wear white or black isotoner-type slippers or dance shoes on your feet.

Starfish- Black long-sleeved leotard and tights with black dance shoes or flats (isotoner type slippers will work here too.

Princesses - You should wear black flats or dance shoes and nude tights or stockings under your dresses.  You may wear your hair any way you like, as long as it is styled and formal - you are meeting your Prince after all, so you should look beautifully presentable. If you are in other scenes, you may wish to wear a nude tank/cami leotard under your clothing to make changing easier.

Main Cast should wear shoes according to your costume group.

Ariel - You need black flats and/or nude dance shoes for your various costumes. If you can get ice-skater nude skate covering tights to cover your Heelies, that would also be a plus.

Eric - Black dress shoes for under boot spats and with dress costumes. Hair can be left curly.

Grimsby - You need black dress shoes. You should also wear a white t-shirt for under your dress shirt.  Hair should be slicked back to accommodate the wig.

Triton - I will get back to you on your shoes when I see what your costume looks like - most likely, a pair of foot-covering slippers in black will be best.  You CANNOT wear sneakers or boots. Hair should be slicked back.

Windward and Leeward - Black dress shoes and a white t-shirt for quick changing purposes.

Flotsam and Jetsam -  Black ballet/dance shoes , hair will be in a wig

March Schedule, etc

posted Feb 24, 2020, 10:28 AM by Tara Montague

It's coming down to it!  The show is in two weeks!
Some reminders:
On Wednesday the 26th, we will be ending rehearsal at 4pm to accommodate the many students who are going to Morristown's Got Talent!
This Saturday is the 29th - it is the tech rehearsal and EVERYONE MUST BE THERE!!!
The March schedule has been posted!
You will be given a list of the items you will need to provide for your costume.  Most of the items on the list are shoes you need to wear and undergarments if they are not provided in the costume.  Please make every effort to have these items by the tech rehearsal on Saturday 2/29.  The list will be posted in the announcements here as well as given to all cast members as a hand out.
Finally - there is a lot of illness going around - do the best you can to stay healthy.  Don't share drinks or food with other students, take your vitamins and get plenty of sleep...it's going to be a busy two weeks!!
