Operation Key Club Critters
The Key Club is excited to announce an upcoming service project entitled "Operation Key Club Critters." The project will benefit the Colbert County Animal Shelter. All students and faculty are invited to bring donations that will benefit the "critters" housed at the animal shelter. Items needed are: dry food (dog/cat), puppy/kitten food, cat litter, bleach, blankets, wipes, hand sanitizer, and towels. Donations will be accepted until September 18th at your school's designated drop-off location. Donations will be displayed on the Key Club Homecoming float.

Santa Bus
Each year the student organizations join forces to sponsor a number of children in the community. The Santa Bus project sponsored 40 children in the Shoals in 2014, providing a grand total of $4,000 in gift to disadvantaged children.

A-Push Animal Food Drive
In the 2014-2015 school year, Ms. Amanda Mathis and her advance placement history class were inspired by their reform movement research to sponsor an animal food drive. The food totaling about 200 pounds was donated to the Colbert County Animal Shelter.

HOSA Blood Drive
Each year HOSA(Health Occupation Students of America) allows the Career Academy and the High School to team up for a much needed cause. The students and employees of the Muscle Shoals City School System donate a significant number of blood and plasma units each year. A huge thanks to Mrs. Heather James and her Career and Technical Organization for sponsoring this each year.

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
In 2014 the students of Muscle Shoals rose to the challenge as they raised funds to get Ms. Leella Holt "iced down" for a good cause. The students raised money to donate to the ALS  Research foundation.
