9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EDT

Free computer science training opportunities for Maine teachers.

We are actively recruiting high school teachers to participate in the professional learning program which includes:
  • TeacherCon, a five-day summer training in Philadelphia taking place July 30 - August 4, 2017, which will fully prepare teachers to utilize Code.org curriculum and teacher supports. Code.org provides airfare, lodging, and meals during the conference, and teachers will receive a gift card to cover incidentals.
  • Four, one-day local workshops during the school year (normally on Saturdays), during which teachers will join other teachers from Maine for ongoing training and just-in-time support.
  • There is also a webinar that folks can tune into on April 3rd at 6pm ET to learn more: https://tinyurl.com/csp-webinar-april3

If you know teachers who might be a great fit, feel free to share this link with them to learn more about the program and to apply:

Should anyone have questions or want to chat in more detail, we are happy to meet with school administrators and teachers individually.
