Greetings! Welcome to the Mabel I. Wilson School community of learners! Mabel I. Wilson School serves the towns of Cumberland and North Yarmouth, Maine. Our mission is to guide all students as they acquire enthusiasm for learning, assume responsibility for their education, achieve academic excellence, and discover and attain their personal bests. We strive to work with parents to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. Please, share celebrations of these successes with us as we journey together.

  • September 2018 From the Principal’s desk     Each year is a new and exciting beginning for our students. They seem to be adjusting to being back at school and learning the routines of their new classrooms, along with making new friends and seeing old friends at recess. Discussions about being safe, respectful, and responsible are happening in all areas of the building with special focus on classrooms, hallways, and lunchroom settings.We had an additional twenty-three students enroll in our school throughout the summer. The accumulation of more than seventy students over the last few years has made our school very tight. For this reason, we have added a two classroom portable to our backyard. School Day: 8:45am - 3:15pm (Wed. 8:45am - 12:30pm)

If your child will not be attending school, please call the office at 829 - 4825 by 9:00am as we must be able to account for all students each day.
