Winter Sports INFO (yellow=RED)as of 12/18

Rangers,
What a great snowy day yesterday!  As we continue into the holiday season, let us be thankful for all we have been able to accomplish in  school and in athletics thus far.   Cumberland County is now designated as "Yellow" per CDC/DOE/DHHS and that designation will make us RED in athletics.
The RED designation means the following:
  • Coaches CAN meet via Zoom/Google meets with their teams
  • Coaches CAN conduct/offer remote practice activities/training that students can do on their own(solo, no groups)
  • No "captains'" practices
  • The "Yellow=RED" designation will be re-evaluated on DEC 31st
  • The campus will be closed to all athletics activity including the pool
  • Students, do what you can to stay active and safe during our down time so that we can come back safely ASAP!
Here's to putting 2020 in our rearview mirror and forging ahead to a safe, corona-free 2021 for all!
.  Be well and Go Rangers!

If you are traveling for the holidays with family, the following is very important:
  • Out of State Travel Information

Families who are choosing to travel outside the state of Maine to non exempt states should keep in mind that they will need to quarantine for 14 days or, in order to forgo the quarantine requirement, they can receive a negative Covid-19 test from a specimen taken no longer than 72 hours prior to arrival in Maine.  As of 11/4/20, the following states are exempt from the need to quarantine due to the similar prevalence of Covid-19 to the state of Maine: New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. (NOTE: The exemption for Connecticut, New York and New Jersey ended Nov. 4, 2020) It also applies for day trips (e.g., a trip from Maine to Rhode Island for medical appointments or shopping).

For the most up to date information regarding travel requirements: Keep Maine Healthy FAQs
