Mrs. Iverson 8th Grade ELA

Welcome! This will be my seventeenth year teaching language arts. I have a B.S. degree in elementary education with several middle school endorsements from the University of Illinois. My family and I live in Mahomet and have for the last nineteen years. I have two daughters; both are graduates of this district.

My mission as a reading and writing teacher is to encourage all my students to find their niche in my subject area. While respecting the abilities of all my students, I hope to encourage and challenge them to become active learners and critical thinkers.
