Design a holiday challenge

posted Dec 18, 2018, 4:17 PM by Bridget Lawrence   [ updated Dec 18, 2018, 4:21 PM ]

Miss Sami came up with a fun Maths/Reading challenge: children had an imaginary $2500 to design a 7 day holiday. They had to make a plan for their destination, food, activities and travel. Room 13 also borrowed this idea. They had lots of fun. I think you will enjoy reading their ideas!

Thank you eyelid for all you do

I will always take care of you

You like me when I’m sad or happy,

even if I’m a little crappy

You go up when I am down,

you are like my personal clown.

I’ll love you always no matter what

Even if you keep my eyes shut.

You are special to me my friend,

I don’t think this friendship will ever end.

The Kraken

Stay away from the sea.

Stay away from the ocean.

This unwanted beast will stop your motion.

“I will make you scream.”

“I will make you sink.”

This slimy thing is just what it seems.

With its giant tentacles.

And it’s razor sharp like teeth.

This beast is a cold-hearted monster.

First they chase you.

Then you cry.

ThErE’s nO oNe tO WaTch YOu dIe.

You’ll try to swim.

But you will suffer.

Look out the Kraken is near.

Be careful when you sail because it just might be there.

“YES!” they shouted even louder then you!

“Alright, here we go!” you shouted.

“MMMMMM!” the singing went then……...
