Quizzams
Every chapter will have several Quizzams which are timed based on the problem selection.  They will be made up of Free Response and Multiple Choice questions from actual AP examinations and review materials. For each Quizzam, a grade of 1 to 5 will be assigned to reflect the grading of an actual AP examination.  The rubric used for Quizzams is as follows:

5 - 65% and up
4 - 50% to 64%
3 - 35% to 49%
2 - 25% to 34%
1 - 00% to 24%

Currently, 14 Quizzams are scheduled to occur after the following sections: 1.4, 2.3, 2.5 (with 5.1, 5.4), 2.6, 3.3, 3.5, 4.4, 4.6, 5.4, 5.7, 6.3, 7.2, 7.3, 7.6

Each Quizzam score will go in the grade book out of 10 points.  I am giving you 5 out of 10 points to start.

Grade of 5/10 – The student does not make an honest effort on all problems assigned, but does make an honest effort on at least half of the problems assigned.

Chapter Tests

Tests will be given in-class primarily.  There MAY be take-home tests or portions of a test given.  Each test’s point value will be determined by the problems.  Expect this to be a Higgins style test; however, there may be a few AP questions.
