Community Based Learning is an exciting opportunity for students at Main Street Middle School to explore their interests in real-world work settings in and around Montpelier. The program is designed for students for whom academics and/or attendance are challenging. Each student's experience is individualized. Students are matched with community partners based on personal interests and curricular links. Students set and work toward academic and personal development goals.

A primary objective of the Community Based Learning program is to promote
personal engagement in education through real-world learning opportunities.
