Manchester High School's
Library Media Center
The MHS Library Media center will empower students to be creative thinkers, courageous risk-takers, excellent researchers and collaborative learners.
All students will be supported in becoming skillful researchers and ethical users and creators of information through direct instruction, collaboration with library staff, and media center resources.
All students will have access to the library media center, either during classes with a teacher pass, free periods, or before or after school.
While we want to keep our library as beautiful as possible, we also want it to be utilized appropriately and often! Everyone is welcome here! The library is meant to be a place for students to be able to work with as few disruptions as possible. To see a full list of expectations and rules for the library, click here.
The Collaboration Table in the library is open for business! You can sign up to use the collaboration table by speaking to a Library Staff Member. Sign up is on a first come, first serve basis. In order to use the Collaboration Table, you must:
- Sign Out/In the appropriate materials from a library staff member.
- Be working on a collaborative project with learning value
- Not change volume or channel settings
