Welcome Manchester High School's Library Media Center!

Our Mission:

The MHS Library Media center will empower students to be creative thinkers, courageous risk-takers, excellent researchers and collaborative learners.

Goals:

All students will be supported in becoming skillful researchers and ethical users and creators of information through direct instruction, collaboration with library staff, and media center resources.

All students will have access to the library media center, either through classes, or independently during Power Hour, free periods, and before or after school.
Visit Our Newly Renovated Library!
We are happy to have a newly renovated, beautiful library. Please help keep our new library beautiful by refraining from eating, putting things where you found them, and throwing away trash.

Library Expectations
While we want to keep our library as beautiful as possible, we also want it to be utilized appropriately and often! We want everyone to be welcome here, but the library is meant to be a place for students to be able to work with as few disruptions as possible. Highlight of the Month:

Math & Writing Lab Moves to the Library

To make room for a new and exciting program, the Math and Writing Lab has now moved into the library. Teachers will be available for writing and math help in the library during class periods and Power Hour.  All math/writing lab services are still available in the new location.

All Library rules apply to students visiting the Math/Writing Lab stations in the library.

Questions? Ask a Library or Writing/Math Lab Staff Member.

Just a reminder, the Library is a quiet work space. Our first priority is making sure students have a quiet, productive work space during the school day.
